Who We Are

 

The Paediatric Sleep Nurse (ABN 20361208096), based in Flagstaff Hill, Adelaide, AUSTRALIA, is referred to as the provider in these terms. "I, we, our" refers to The Paediatric Sleep Nurse. "Client, you, they" refers to the consumer or purchaser who engages The Paediatric Sleep Nurse’s services. "Service" refers to email, phone, text, or home consultations provided by The Paediatric Sleep Nurse.

Agreements

By booking a consultation with The Paediatric Sleep Nurse, you agree to:

• Follow safe sleep practices follow safe sleep practices in accordance with your country’s recommended guidelines to prevent the risk of SIDS.

• Provide accurate, relevant information, including any medically diagnosed conditions related to your child. 

• Not share, reproduce, or sell any information or custom plans provided by The Paediatric Sleep Nurse.

• Commence support within seven days of receiving and reviewing your custom sleep plan.

• Complete the intake questionnaire with accurate and detailed information.

• Address any medical concerns your child may have that could affect sleep, in consultation with your GP or paediatrician. While The Paediatric Sleep Nurse holds a Degree in Paediatric Nursing, no medical advice or diagnoses are provided. If a GP or paediatrician does not approve sleep training, you will receive a full refund.

• Ensure your child is healthy, with no illnesses or weight gain concerns, prior to beginning the sleep program.

• Take responsibility for the health and safety of your child at all times.

• Adhere to your sleep plan as closely as possible. Success relies on your persistence, consistency, patience, and adherence to the provided guide.

Pricing

All prices are inclusive of the services described in your selected package.

 

• Invoices must be paid within 24 hours of booking to confirm your appointment and avoid cancellation.

• If The Paediatric Sleep Nurse deems the service inappropriate, a full refund will be offered. Refunds will not be given for change of mind.

• The Paediatric Sleep Nurse reserves the right to adjust pricing at any time for any reason.

Cancellations

 

• If you need to cancel a consult, please contact The Paediatric Sleep Nurse at least 24 hours in advance to reschedule.

• Failure to cancel within 24 hours may result in ineligibility to reschedule unless a reasonable explanation is provided.

• If your baby becomes unwell before or during the support period, you may pause or reschedule support for up to one week. Extensions beyond this will be discussed with The Paediatric Sleep Nurse.

 

 

 

 

 

Support

​

 

• Support is included for one or two weeks as per your chosen package.

• Additional support can be purchased for $80 per week, which includes unlimited text support during working hours. This can be added to any packages or for returning clients.

• Support is available via email, phone, and text during business hours, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM. Weekend text support is also available :10:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

 

 

 

Custom Plans

 

 

• The Paediatric Sleep Nurse uses evidence-based sleep training methods backed by scientific research.

• No guarantees are made regarding specific results as outcomes depend on factors such as the child’s age, temperament, health, and the client’s consistency in applying the plan.

• Results may take 10-14 days of consistent implementation.

• Custom plans are specific to your child and should not be shared or replicated. They are not suitable for other children.

• Suggestions made by The Paediatric Sleep Nurse are to be implemented at your discretion.

• The advice provided in your consultation, and sleep plan is personalised and intended to guide you in making changes. Any adjustments you make to your child’s sleep or awake behaviors are your responsibility, and the success of the process depends on your consistency and dedication.

• You are responsible for completing sleep logs and providing them to The Paediatric Sleep Nurse to ensure proper follow-up support.

Home Visits

 

 

• For home visits, you must notify The Paediatric Sleep Nurse who will be present and their relationship to you.

• If The Paediatric Sleep Nurse feels unsafe, the service will be immediately terminated without a refund.

• Home visits are conducted within Flagstaff Hill, Adelaide and surrounding suburbs (15km radius). For locations outside this area, a fee of $0.72 per km applies.

Privacy

 

 

• All personal information provided to The Paediatric Sleep Nurse will be kept confidential and will not be shared or sold through social media or third-party marketing companies.

• Any documentation or advice shared with you is confidential and intended solely for your family’s use. It should not be shared or replicated without permission.

 

 

 

Safety

 

 

• All recommendations are based on research and consultation with Red Nose Australia, WHO, and AAP.

 

 

 

Agreement

 

• By purchasing a consultation, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
